How To Make Money With Your Blog In the Philippines

There are lots of money making models that you can do on the net. However, if you live in the Philippines, online money making is a little bit limited. This is why we will only tackle money making models that are proven to be working even if you are living in the Philippines.

Some consider blogging as a hobby, while others consider it as a business. But why not consider it to be both? Your hobby can be a good start of business. And this is where blogging comes in.

Let us say you have a hobby and you know all things about it. Why not blog it? Why not share to the world the things that you know? You can make lots of friends out of it. And while doing it why not monetize it?

But how?

Here’s a list of effective blog monetization models that you can implement in your blog even if you are living in the Philippines.

1.    Adsense – Though as I said before, Adsense may not be so effective to all kinds of blog. This remains to be one of the best monetization models if you are just starting up with your blog. All you have to do is to open an account with Adsense.  Set the ads in your blog effectively for optimum performance.

2.    Implement Affiliate Marketing –
There are really outstanding internet marketer who was able to make use of this monetization model effectively. Unfortunately, most products that offer a good deal of profits are only available in US territories. There was even a time when Click Bank banned Philippine affiliates due to spamming and misconducts as affiliates.

But don’t lose hope. You can always find a good product to promote with a good profit deal. On my next post on money making tips, I will be discussing on how to effectively implement affiliate marketing in your blog.

One of the new features of Blogger blogspot blogs is the integration of Amazon.com. This adds to the advantages of Blogger compared to other free blog provider platforms.

3.    Accept Ads – This is probably  one of the most profitable blog monetization models for Philippine bloggers. Abe Olandre, one of the top Filipino bloggers in the Philippine said that Ad earnings alone can supply the needs of your blog.

Note however, that you can effectively implement this if you have a good amount of traffic every month. Advertisers don’t mind with low traffic blogs. This means that before you attract advertisers, first, you need to have a good amount of traffic.

4.    Sell your own product –
Selling your own product can be the most profitable monetization model too. There are highly effective ways to do this. But first, you need to have a Paypal account. Having  Paypal account is easy, simply sign up for free and that’s it. What is difficult however is how you are going to verify it.

Credit card is not available for all here in the Philippines. Having it is too expensive. One bank requires Php 50,000 for you to qualify to apply. Some credit card provider requires at least Php 20,000 monthly salary before you can have one. A credit card or a debit card is what you need to verify your Paypal account before you can use it.

But don’t panic, there is a solution to this. If you have a Union Bank in your area, then you have no problem. If not, look for the nearest town that has one.

Try to apply for their EON debit card. This is the easiest and the most affordable way to have your Paypal account verified. They don’t have a maintaining balance and you don’t need to have an opening balance for it. All you have to do is to pay for its yearly fee of Php 350. And that’s it.:)

These four are the most effective monetization models especially that you can apply with your blogger blog especially if you are living in the Philippines.

Try it!
